Autorefractor

This type of test provides an approximation of your corrective lens prescription to help the optometrist fine-tune your prescription.
Visual field testing

Digital retinal imaging

This type of test involves using a high-powered digital camera to take detailed images of the back of your eye. It is used to assess conditions like macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy, which typically leave tell-tale signs behind when this type of imaging is used.
Tonometry

This type of test involves us testing the amount of pressure in your eye with a gentle puff of air. High eye pressure has been linked to many diseases, including glaucoma.
Slit lamp exam

This type of test involves assessing the front surface of your eye to check for developing conditions, including cataracts and dry eye.
